Beverly Alexander has served as the Lutheran Campus Pastor in Raleigh since 1985. She has walked beside many students as they endure the "trials and tribulations" and enjoy the experiences that are part of college life. She has rejoiced with them as they receive their degrees and seek to follow their particular "voice of vocation." When you hit those rough spots in faith: relationships, classes, and perhaps changing your major, she can help, she cares. When you're elated about the faith, relationships, classes, and your major area of study, she wants to know about these good times, too. She is ready to listen.

Thanks for checking us out! Even though it says "Lutheran" in our title, we want you to know that you don't have to be Lutheran (or even have a church background) to get involved. We welcome and encourage all students of every race, gender, and sexual orientation to come and join our community and fellowship.

Location
The Lutheran Student Center is downstairs in the Education Building of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Student Center is open all day and most nights until 11:00 pm. during the school year. Located near the NCSU campus, it is a good place to study, watch TV, listen to music, or just talk with friends.

Our prayer for the college and university students entrusted to our community:
God of all good gifts, your Son gathered children into his arms and blessed them. Help us to understand our youth as they grow in years and in knowledge of your world. Give us compassion when they face temptations and experience failures. Teach us to encourage their search for truth and value in their lives. Help us to appreciate their ideals and sympathize with their frustrations; that with them we may look and work for a better world than either we or they have known; through Jesus Christ our Lord. -- Amen.

Worship with Lutheran Campus Ministry

During the school year, we gather every Wednesday night in the Gethsemane Chapel for worship followed by a home-cooked meal. Worship is at 5:30 pm and the dinner begins at 6:15 pm. The cost of the dinner is $3.50 per person.
